Dear
Welcome to May, a month of raising awareness about clinical trials, and celebrating the patients, carers, researchers and more who play a critical role in the clinical trials ecosystem, helping advance healthcare and medical innovations for tomorrow's patients.
I'll be celebrating by participating in other's events, and will round out the month with our next 'Clinical Trials Explained' webinar, Fri 30 May 12-1pm AEST. Visit here to learn more about this webinar specifically for people with little knowledge of clinical trials, and register. Check out the list of May clinical trials-related events I've spotted so far open to the public, and keep an eye our our Facebook page/group for updates to this list.
We also encourage you to thank a trial participant for their commitment to our future healthcare. One way to do that is purchase one of our origami sunflowers, as a kit or pre-made, to gift. Your purchase helps us keep this newsletter free. But of course, there are many other ways you can show participants your gratitude.
Have you participated in a clinical trial? Would you like to share your experience with us? We are always up for a chat to learn more about your
experiences.
Please reach out to me at any time you have questions or feedback about this newsletter or our work. This is one of two newsletters we send out each month. The other is for those interested in 'Partnering' in Research. For now, subscribers get both, but this will change from July. There'll be more information about the switch in our June newsletter.
