Latest News
Dear

This week AccessCR is exhibiting at the ARCS Australia Annual Conference in Sydney. We're looking forward to meeting the increased number of consumers that will be attending this year, as speakers, and as ARCS Consumer Scholarship holders. We are also happy to have helped support a couple of consumers to cover their travel costs to take up those scholarships

The great news is that we didn't spend the full amount donated by ourselves, Rare Cancers Australia, Medicines Australia, TrialDocs and Lucid Health Consulting. The group have agreed for the left over funds raised to be used to provide travel support for consumers to attend other other scientific conferences this year. Stay tuned more details about this in the coming months.

At the ARCS Conference, we'll also be chairing a session with a trial participant, site and lawyer on the very important topic of compensation for clinical trials injury and the gaps that need to be closed in this area. If there are CCReW out there with experiences to share on this topic, please get in touch. This is just one of the areas of advocacy for CCReW we will be pursuing in the coming months.

If you are at the ARCS Conference, please drop by our stand for a conversation and if appropraite, to pick up your CCReW member badge.

If you have CCReW news of your own, be sure to share it with us. We'd love to hear what you are up to, and  include your stories in this newsletter.

                                                        Janelle.
                                    Managing Director,

This is a list of all studies on the ANZCTR approved by a human research ethics committee, recruiting in Australia, with a trial start date between 9-23 May 2022.

AccessCR has no relationship with any of these projects and conducts this search of the public register to help people know about the research studies looking for participants.

If there are trials you know have just opened, but are not on this list, then it may be because the ANZCTR listing was not up to date at the time of the search, or the trial was not listed as approved, recruiting and with a start date during the search window. If you are interested in more information, please click the links and contact the researchers listed directly. If you have problems contacting the researchers, please let us know.

If you'd like to proactively advertise a research study, then get in touch. Your advertising will help us continue this free CCReW support service.

Have you ever been asked about your experience participating in research?

Our protoype research participation experience survey this now available for anyone that would like to keep a record of their experiences over time. It can be completed at any time, from trying to access a research study, to participating and completing the study, and as often as you like. You will be emailed a copy of your responses to do with as you wish.

Tell us about your experience, so we can identify opportunities for improvement or centres giving great experiences to partcipants.
